Yield
Serves 1-2
Ingredients
1 cup strawberries
2 bananas
2 handfuls of spinach
Pinch of sea salt
1 teaspoon coconut oil
2 teaspoon pumpkin seeds (soaked)
Recipe Directions
1. Put berries, coconut oil, seeds, and then bananas into the blender. Add salt to taste.
2. Pour water to about half the amount of food in the jug and blend until smooth and creamy. Add more or less water depending on how runny or thick you like it. I also add a teaspoon on psyllium if I want it thicker.
Sweetpea's Thoughts

Yummy creamy smoothie.
Great way to eat greens.
The added pumpkins add omega-3s.

Oh wow, I didn't see this! It's very similar to the one I just posted minus our extra ingredients. I will try this tomorrow. Thanks.

Because the pumpkin seeds have been soaked, they blend very well in the vitamix with the rest of the ingredients and you're not using too many to get grainy.

I never though to put pumpkin seeds in a smoothie- do they taste grainey- or do you have a vitamix that grinds them to a powder?
