Ingredients
1 bunch of celery, trimmed
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 spring onion (scallion, green onion)
1 cup water (more or less as needed to blend)
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
pinch of cayenne pepper
2 squirts of Bragg's Liquid Aminos (optional, not raw)
1 Tbsp of Nutritional yeast (optional, not raw)
Recipe Directions
Chop celery into 1 to 2 inch pieces. Put celery in high speed blender with remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

This is an adaptation of "Delicious Cream of Celery Soup" submitted by OceanBliss. This is a really easy, quick, savory smoothie (or you could think of it as soup, if you like). The cayenne and black pepper really add a nice kick. I'm a big baby as far as spiciness goes, but you can punch it up to your taste if you can handle more.
